June 6, 2022
Dear Families,

We miss our students already! I hope that your summer brings many happy occasions and that all remain healthy and safe during these next two months.

Our staff and administration will be busy making plans for the upcoming school year this summer. Please mark your calendars for our book and supply drop-off, Monday, August 15. Classrooms will be open from 10-12 a.m. and again from 5-6 p.m. We look forward to welcoming all of our students back to school on August 17.

Sincerely,
Summer Packet
Our summer packet contains all of the information you need to know for the summer, including book lists, supplies, uniforms, summer office hours, and more. Please be aware that the Archdiocese has adopted a new Social Studies series next year, and the current Social Studies textbooks in grades 3, 5, 6, and 7, will not be used next year. The new books will be consumables. Grade 4 will continue to use the same Alabama History Book. Please know you can access this information on our website at the following link:

Book Lists
Please note the book lists in our summer packet. Consumable book bundles are available through the USA Campus bookstore. The deadline to order bundles is June 17. After that, you may still order the books separately, but there is a cost-benefit to ordering the bundles. Orders can be made at the link below.

Also noted in the summer packet, there are two books that must be ordered through the school office, social studies (grades 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8) and reading (grades K-8.) The reading books are consumable, but the social studies books are hard-covered textbooks. This means the initial purchase price is more costly, but you will be able to sell your book next year and purchase a used one.
School Supplies
You will also find supply lists within our summer packet. Our school partners with Edukit, inc. to provide school supplies packaged and ready for the first day of school. It is easy and affordable.
ORDER BY JUNE 20, 2022, FOR THE BEST PRICING AND FREE SHIPPING.
Please consider donating to help support deserving students in our school community. Donations can be added to your online order.
Extended ordering is available from June 21 - July 17 for an additional fee and will be delivered to your home shortly before school begins.

Summer Reading and Math Activities
All students entering grades K-8 should have received a summer math packet the last week of school to be completed over the summer. There are also limited copies available in the school office.

Summer Reading activities can be found on our website, organized by grade level. These can be found in the information for summer section,

All summer reading and math work is due on the first day of school.
