Grandparents Day Mass
September 27, 2024 at 8:15am
We look forward to hosting our grandparents and grand-friends this Friday. Our day will begin with Mass. Students who wish to bring a flower in memory of grandparents who are no longer with us are welcome to do so. Students in grades K-8th grade will meet grandparents attending Mass in the church. Following Mass, there will be a reception for grandparents only in the atrium.
In an effort to offer a safe and secure environment for our school and students, we will have a structured visiting schedule following Mass. We know our students are eager to host their grandparents and grand-friends and look forward to them visiting with us throughout the morning! Please see the full visiting schedule below.

A Is For Africa
Matim Primary School
Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa
This year, we will continue to support A is for Africa and the Matim Primary School located in Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa. Students are encouraged to bring in .25 cents on the 25th of each month (if it is a school day). Our first A is for Africa day is coming up on September 25th. We have supported this program for a few years now, and we have learned that the school children appreciate the supplies they receive from our donations. We are thrilled to continue to support this program, as this creates a wonderful learning opportunity for our students to learn about children in another part of the world and their daily lives, which are so different from our own.

Disciples of St. Michael
Middle School Service Club
All 6th through 8th graders are invited to join the Disciples of St. Michael (DOSM). This club was established in August of 2012 to honor the memory of our former student, Andre Michael Colletti. Just as Andre was a light in the lives of all those who knew him, the DOSM will work to help those in our school, parish, and world community. We are excited to introduce a new logo for the Disciples of St. Michael and an updated t-shirt for this year! Past year DOSM shirts may still be worn, but if a student would like to order one of the new designs, the order form is on our website.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
Prayer for September:
Our Father
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
