Dear Marseilles Residents,

Friday October 18th the City along with the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Mexican Restaurant on Main Street., El Patron.  Participating members were then served lunch by the owner, Jesus.  It was a great meal and a big thank you to Jesus for his hospitality. This was the second new business in three months established on Main Street.

If you haven’t been down Broadway Street you need to take a drive and check out the progress of Broadway Park.  Contractors have been blessed with nice weather and have made substantial progress.  The park will be completed in the spring.

The American Legion will be hosting a Trunk or Treat at the legion on 10/31/24 from 3-6 PM.

A reminder that Trick or Treat hours on Halloween 10/31/24 will be from 5-7 PM.

Sincerely,

Mayor Jim Hollenbeck
