STUDENTS/PARENTS:

PARENTS:

We are preparing for our annual SOS Signs of Suicide program in a few weeks, and we want to ensure that you, too, have the information and tools to converse with your child about it. This is why there will be a parent training during parent-teacher conferences on Tuesday at 5 PM and Wednesday at 6 PM. Please check the flyer below for more details.  Our SOS Signs of Suicide program will be facilitated on 11-6-24. If you want your student to OPT-OUT, please hit the link and complete the Google form by 11-3-25. Thank you!

SOPHOMORES/JUNIORS:

The Northland Career Center application for the 26-27 school year has officially opened. Click here to apply. Make sure to come to the counseling office and schedule your shadow visit with Ms. Stukes (the shadow is required for your application)

STUDENTS/PARENTS:

The Counseling Center would like to make you aware of the Talk Dot. The Talk Dot is a sticker that staff members display on their classroom doors, computers, or belongings. This sticker signifies to students that they are safe adults in a safe space, willing to listen and help them through challenging situations. If you are a student looking for someone to talk to, please visit the Counseling Center or find a staff member displaying the Talk Dot sticker.  Please see the picture below as a reference.

Introducing the Liberty North Kindness E-Wall!

We are excited to announce the launch of our Kindness E-Wall, a virtual platform designed to help us spread positivity and kindness throughout our school community! Whether you want to recognize a friend's effort, share a compliment, or send an uplifting message, this E-Wall is the perfect place to brighten someone's day.

How It Works:

  • Submit Your Message: Anyone in our school community can send positive messages. All you need is an email address (no login required)!
  • Approval Process: Messages will be reviewed by a staff moderator before being displayed.
  • Visibility: The E-Wall will be shared on TVs throughout the school, featured on our website, and included in our newsletters.

We encourage you to share messages of kindness, appreciation, and encouragement to help promote a sense of belonging and positivity here in North Nation!

Click here to visit the Kindness E-Wall and submit your message

Let’s fill the E-Wall with positivity and make Liberty North the best place to be!

STUDENTS: Take time to review the most high demand jobs collected from the Missouri Economic Research and Information Center.

Sophomores-Seniors:

College and Military representatives visit LNHS throughout the school year. Students are encouraged to sign up for these opportunities to ask questions and find out more information! These visits are a great way to start the post-secondary thought process and provide a free experience before going to the campus! Sign up on SchooLinks or see Ms. Stukes in the Counseling Center.

ALL STUDENTS: College visits are In Person and located in the Eagles Nest. Make sure you are registering for the visit through SchooLinks. Check back often as new visits are scheduled almost daily.
