NEW NEWS

National School Counselor’s Week 2026

It’s National School Counselors Week, February 2–6!

To celebrate, we’ll have appreciation notes available in the Counseling Center and in the hallway under the Counselors’ Fatheads for students and staff to share messages of gratitude. All notes will be collected and given to our Counselors on Friday, February 6.

If you can’t leave an in-person note, you’re welcome to send an email, drop off a card, or snap a photo with their Fathead on Eagle Ave. Be sure to post your messages and selfies on the LN Counseling Center’s Twitter or Instagram with a note of appreciation and #NSCWLN2026. Let’s show them how much we value everything they do—answering questions, providing information, attending meetings, writing letters of recommendation, planning schedules and ICAPs, supporting enrollment, guiding post-secondary planning, creating 504s, and so much more.

Our LN School Counselors are truly AMAZING cheerleaders and advocates for student success!

As part of National School Counselors Week, we also invite everyone to help honor each Counselor by wearing their favorite color on Thursday, February 5.

Let’s come together to celebrate our phenomenal School Counselors and all that they do for LN!
