• A new paid pathway for Clayton State Business Students | Thanks to Douglas Hooker and Atlanta Gas Light, three students will intern with Aero ATL this Fall 2026 semester

The Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance post-secondary partnership will be elevating its collaboration with philanthropic funding from Aero ATL founding member and inaugural Aero Honors recipient Mr. Douglas Hooker.

Funds will be used to provide PAID internships during the Fall 2026 semester for three qualifying Clayton State College of Business students. They will collaborate with Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance staff to gain more insight into various AeroATL initiatives/projects while working on a group research project. 

Special thanks to our dedicated partners, Atlanta Gas Light, for sponsoring this new program with Clayton State University. Students will be announced in September 2026 and participate in the 12^th Annual State of the Aerotropolis.

• Regional transportation planning is underway, and Aero ATL is at the table

Aero ATL congratulates Jonathan Hunt on officially stepping into his role as General Manager and CEO of MARTA. Hunt's leadership will play a critical role in shaping regional transit connectivity across metro Atlanta, including the Aerotropolis region surrounding Hartsfield-Jackson.
