Creative Expressions 2020: Thank you, everyone
|
|
We challenged the girls and boys of GSGC-supported clubs to showcase their creativity in the arts, and they came through big time! The response from club members was extraordinary. The response from the Mentors was enthusiastic encouragement.
We relied on the expertise of judges on two continents to winnow the many entries for a juried Creative Expressions 2020 competition. They were generous with their time, attention and thoughts.
And we challenged you, our GSGC donors, to support the finalists by showing your appreciation for their efforts with your votes and dollars, and again, you didn’t disappoint!
To all the girls and boys who took part in Creative Expressions 2020, we are so proud of you. Can’t wait to see what you do in the coming months and years.

“My name is Natasha Kapeto. I feel honored to be the winner of the competition organized by the Global Sojourns Giving Circle, GSGC. I must especially thank GSGC for granting me an opportunity to showcase my educational talent and for realizing my potential. Also, I’d like to thank Dad, Mom, and my Aunties of the Tikobane Girls Club, who are supporting me and believing in me.

“The winning prize money has indeed come at the right time. The prize money will help me and my parents in paying my school fees arrears and some of my educational needs. My parents have a great wish to see me excelling in my education. But it’s only that financial challenges are limiting them, thereby causing a great challenge in my educational dream. Hopefully the prize money will help me to address my educational needs.” |
