From President Frank H. Wu:

All of you have probably heard or seen news reports of Russia’s provocative actions at the Ukraine border which have caused mounting tensions between the two countries. The crisis is escalating with each day.

Here in Queens, we are considered the “world’s borough” for immigrants and their families, and these events are upsetting to many in our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is affected, including members of the Queens College community who have family and friends from the region. We pray for everyone’s safety and for a genuine peaceful resolution to this conflict.

Students who are directly affected by this crisis are welcome to contact Student Counseling Services at [email protected]Faculty and staff can receive free counseling services from the CUNY Work/Life program.
