The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission is reaching out to
Northeast
and
Southeast
Region
Industry Chefs, Post-Secondary Educators and Secondary Educators
to request self-nominations and/or nominations to serve on the Accrediting Commission and Secondary Committee. Serving on the Accrediting Commission/ Secondary Committee is a 3-year commitment. The current term is July 2019-July 2022.
The Commission meets 2 times annually, in January and July, to review documentation from accreditation/certification site visits and makes a determination on a grant of accreditation/certification. Commission/Committee members are also asked to serve on subcommittees throughout the year to assist with Accreditation process and policy development. Industry representatives must be current ACF members and ACF certified.
Post-Secondary and Secondary Educators must come from an ACFEF Accredited programs, be a current ACF member and hold an ACF certification. If you would like to submit your name for consideration to serve on the Accrediting Commission please submit your resume with a cover letter to Dana Baldwin at the ACF National Office –
