Smithfield Culinary and the ACF have expanded their partnership with the new Smithfield Partners in Culinary Excellence Member Development Program .

Throughout 2019, Smithfield and ACF leadership teams will choose 40 chefs ranging across a spectrum of experience levels, backgrounds and job titles to take part in an exclusive program that fosters meaningful relationships between talented chefs and the Smithfield Culinary team. Chefs welcomed into the program receive an ACF membership, the ability to gain exposure for their organization, the opportunity to consult with a leading protein company and a Smithfield-branded chef coat.

Apprenticeship Evaluator Training

Training will be offered at the ACF National Convention in Orlando on Thursday, Aug. 8 th at 11 a.m. We are looking for industry chefs and culinary arts educators to administer site visit evaluations for apprenticeship programs. 

Program coordinators or supervising chefs of an ACFEF apprentice within the past 2 years are needed for Lead Evaluator positions.

Practical Exam Prep Course

After two years of development, it is finally here. Pearson has partnered to develop a course intended to teach the skills needed to prepare for the savory practical exams. Test your skills and learn how to improve with the new exam prep course.

CMC Courses

Know any prospective CMC Chefs or chefs looking to sharpen their skills? The Classical Cuisine Advanced Professional Cooking Class will debut on June 14 and 15 at Niagara Falls Culinary Institute in Niagara Falls, NY.

CC Written Exam Spanish translation  - Final details are being put into place for translating the CC written exam to Spanish. In addition, new pathways and materials are being updated for the website for easier navigation to those who are Spanish speaking. Keep an eye out!
