Shining Brighter Together

The Culture Bright Movement in Action

ILLUMINATING OUR COMMUNITY

Culture Bright is a mark of distinction from The Cultural Trust — a signal that an event, exhibition, or performance represents the very best of arts and culture in our region.

When you see the Culture Bright stamp, you can expect something remarkable: creativity that inspires, experiences that bring people together, and moments that showcase the power of imagination at work in our community.

Every Culture Bright event is hosted by one of our Legacy Partners — organizations whose work defines the cultural heartbeat of the Quad Cities. Some events feature collaboration among multiple partners, while others shine individually. In each case, The Cultural Trust plays a key role behind the scenes, helping elevate these experiences through strategic planning, shared resources, and distinctive touches that make them stand out.

Culture Bright celebrates this ongoing commitment to excellence — the shared belief that when we invest in culture, we strengthen the spirit and vitality of our entire region.

When you see Culture Bright, you know it's an event you don't want to miss.

CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF

HOLIDAY MAGIC

This season marks an incredible milestone — 40 years of holiday magic with Festival of Trees! To celebrate, we’ve launched “40 Stories in 40 Days”, a special storytelling series that highlights the memories, traditions, and behind-the-scenes moments that have made this beloved community event sparkle for four decades.

Each story offers a glimpse into the creativity, dedication, and community spirit that bring Festival of Trees to life year after year — from the volunteers and designers who dream up dazzling displays, to the families and friends who make attending the Festival part of their holiday tradition.

We’re especially grateful to our partners at The Quad-City Times for their continued support and collaboration. Their partnership has helped us share these heartwarming stories with the entire community and shine a light on the joy that the arts bring to the Quad Cities each holiday season.

If you haven’t yet had a chance to read the series, we invite you to visit our website to catch up on all 40 stories.

Then, help us spread the holiday cheer — like, comment, and share our Festival of Trees posts on Facebook to keep the celebration going and help create a buzz across the community.

Together, let’s honor 40 years of creativity, community, and cheer — and make this year’s Festival one to remember!
