  • Stack Neatly: All palm fronds, branches and shrubs.

April 7-13th 2025

Did you know that 40% of food in America is wasted? That came to 41 million tons in 2017. The EPA estimates that more food ends up in landfills than any other material, making up 22% of our municipal solid waste.

Food Waste Prevention Week aims to increase awareness and put an end to food waste.

Spring Cleaning

Proper Disposal

Spring has finally arrived, which means getting rid of unnecessary clutter around the house.

Instead of throwing things away, see if they can be reused, repurposed, or donated.

It's also important to make sure that household hazardous waste isn't thrown away with the regular garbage. Items such as chemicals, paint, tires, and electronics should be taken to one of our Drop Off Locations to be recycled or disposed of properly.
