| | Town Council Meeting on February 17 | | |
The Town will hold a Council meeting on February 17, 2026, at 3 p.m. via Zoom. Town Council meetings are being conducted using a hybrid model where members of Council can participate in person at Town Hall or electronically via Zoom.
At this time, members of the public are encouraged to view the meeting by watching the live stream through the Town’s Municipal Calendar web page.
Should you wish to delegate to a Council meeting, please complete the online delegation form no later than one business day before the meeting is to be held.
If you would like to submit feedback, please email your comments to clerks@haltonhills.ca Comments submitted will be circulated to Council Members in advance of the meeting and will be part of the public record.

Province-Wide School Crossing Guard Appreciation Drawing Contest - February 2 to March 31, 2026!
Help recognize and appreciate the invaluable contributions of School Crossing Guards! This contest aims to engage children aged 4 to 14 years in expressing their gratitude and appreciation for School Crossing Guards through art. The winning drawings will be featured on thank-you cards distributed during School Crossing Guard Appreciation Week. Please visit our website to learn how to participate in the contest.

Resident Sentiment Survey — Have Your Say
Tourism impacts our community in many ways, and resident perspectives are essential to shaping how tourism evolves locally. Residents of Halton Hills are invited to participate in a short (5–8 minute) survey sharing their views on tourism’s impacts, benefits, and challenges. All responses are confidential, and one $100 gift card will be awarded in each municipality.

New Fire Chief Appointed in Halton Hills
Effective February 3, Martin Mills, Deputy Fire Chief with the Town of Halton Hills, will become the new Fire Chief. Mills joined the municipality in 2021 as the Assistant Deputy Fire Chief and was promoted to Acting Deputy Chief in 2023, leading many continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of fire ground safety and officer development.

There are four funding streams available -Community Investment, Environmental Stewardship, Neighbourhood Projects, and Special Events. The Royal Collection Trust Project: Canadian Society Painters in Water Colours
This exhibition showcases the final 25 contemporary Canadian watercolours that will complete the Royal Collection Trust Project, an initiative to create a body of 100 works within His Majesty King Charles III’s Royal Collection. Don’t miss this last opportunity to view them before they journey to England. Join us for the closing reception on Sunday, March 1, from 1–3 p.m. in the Helson Gallery for a special send-off event.

ROADS 2026: Pavement Management Program
Each year, the Engineering and Construction Section of the Transportation and Public Works Department delivers Pavement Management and Capital Works construction programs to renew and improve infrastructure across Halton Hills. Pavement Management has been an annual local resurfacing program since 2003.
Starting in the spring of 2026, select streets will benefit from road resurfacing, where needed. The work will be managed and administered by the Engineering and Construction Section, Transportation and Public Works Department.

Danville Park Playground Replacement
The playground at Danville Park in Acton has reached the end of its service life, and the Town is planning a full replacement and redesign. We’re seeking community input to help shape a refreshed, welcoming space for local families.
Share your ideas for new features—such as a play structure, fitness equipment, or an obstacle-style course—and help ensure the updated park meets the needs of current and future residents.
