RVC Grade Level Verbiage
As we transition to River Valley Christian School, grade levels will be organized into four divisions: Preschool, Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. This updated structure provides greater clarity for families while aligning with the terminology most commonly used in education today.

As part of our transition to River Valley, the app store is still processing the name and logo change, so it will temporarily appear as the Harvest Christian Academy app. Rest assured, this is the correct app and will be updated shortly!

Tuition Payment Plans
As we have turned the corner into June, we are actively preparing for all things RVC. This includes transitioning to a new student information system (SIS) and financial platform. All families will receive information on setting up your account in our new system, Blackbaud, which will streamline processes and allow us to serve your family more efficiently. This will come via email and closer to the end of June at the earliest.
Regarding tuition accounts, due to this transition period, we will offer 10-month payment plans beginning in August for the upcoming school year. Annual and semi-annual plans begin in August as well.
If you would still prefer the equivalent of a 12-month installment plan, please let us know by mailing in payments for June and July.

You may estimate your annual tuition and divide by 12. Or we would encourage you to set aside June and July tuition amounts and apply those savings toward your August payment to help maintain a lower, extended monthly rate structure.

Summer Playdates (Preschool to Grade 4)
Calling all future Rams! Preschool to Grade 4 families are invited to join us for our summer park playdates at local playgrounds. This is a great opportunity for students and parents to meet new friends and begin building community before school starts!
Join us from 10am–12pm on the following dates:
June 25 - Randall Oaks Park (750 N Randall Rd, West Dundee)
July 23 - Festival Park/Splashpad (132 S Grove Ave, Elgin)

One Last Week of Summer Fun at Camp Little Rams!
Summer may be winding down, but there’s still time for one more week of adventure at Camp Little Rams!
If the reality of keeping energetic kids entertained all day has fully set in, we’re here to help. Let them spend their days making memories with friends, enjoying outdoor play, exploring new activities, and soaking up every last bit of summer fun before the school year begins.
Final Week of Camp — June 15-18
NEW Camp Rates:
$200 per week (previously $250)
$550 for all 3 weeks (previously $700)

Middle School Meet-up at Epic Air
Incoming 5th–8th grade students are invited to join us for an afternoon of fun at Epic Air!
July 13
3–5 pm
Epic Air – South Elgin
Cost: $15 per student
Epic Air socks are required and may be purchased for an additional $4 if needed.
Parents are welcome to drop off and pick up students at the conclusion of the event.
There will be supervision by our faculty and staff.

8th Grade Washington DC Trip
Attention incoming 8th grade parents:
Don't forget to register for the Washington DC trip before July 1 to take advantage of the early bird discount!
To register for the trip:

Summer Book Club for Incoming 6th & 7th Graders
By popular student request, Mrs. Werneske and Mrs. Kennedy are hosting a Summer Book Club for the joy of reading and discussing great books together!
June 30 | 9–11am
The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin
August 4 | 9–11am
Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt
Location: Randall Oaks Park, West Dundee (near the zipline playground)
Students may participate in one or both sessions. Please bring your book, a snack, water bottle, and a blanket or towel to sit on. We'll enjoy student-led discussion followed by time on the playground.

Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy the park. Please pick up students by 11:00 AM.

Spring Trip to Europe
Students in grades 10–12 are invited to join us March 31–April 8, 2027 for an incredible trip to Belgium, France, and Switzerland. From historic cities and iconic landmarks to unforgettable cultural experiences, this is a unique opportunity to see the world beyond the classroom.
Register by June 15 and save $150.

| | Join River Valley Theater Arts for a two-week Summer Camp filled with acting, singing, games, and fun! Campers will work together to prepare a junior musical performance while building confidence, creativity, and friendships. The camp concludes with a special performance for family and friends on Friday, July 31. |
| The Harvest-Westminster Varsity Baseball team is state bound today after an incredible 13-6 Super-Sectional victory over Chicago Hope. Join us in praying for them and cheering them on as they compete this weekend and bring glory to God on and off the field! | River Valley Athletic Camps are a great opportunity for students entering Grades 1–8 to stay active, develop skills, and have fun throughout the summer.
