| | Town Council Meeting on March 24 | |
The Town will hold a Council meeting on March 24, 2025, at 3 p.m. via Zoom. Town Council meetings are being conducted using a hybrid model where members of Council can participate in person at Town Hall or electronically via Zoom.
At this time, members of the public are encouraged to view the meeting by watching the live stream through the Town’s Municipal Calendar web page.
Should you wish to delegate to a Council meeting, please complete the online delegation form no later than one business day before the meeting is to be held.
If you would like to submit feedback, please email your comments to clerks@haltonhills.ca Comments submitted will be circulated to Council Members in advance of the meeting and will be part of the public record.

“The Monday, March 3 meeting of Halton Hills Town Council saw some shifting of seats! Two of our local councillors ran in the provincial election on February 27, and one, Joseph Racinsky, was successful. We now have a new Member of Provincial Parliament for our riding of Wellington-Halton Hills! Joseph has resigned his Ward 2 council seat.”

Inaugural Meeting for New Councillor on Monday
Monday, March 24 will mark the first meeting for Matt Kindbom who will be officially sworn in as a Councillor for the Town of Halton Hills.

Downtown Acton Spa Receives CIP Facade Improvement Grant
On March 6, the Town of Halton Hills proudly awarded the Facade Improvement Community Improvement Plan (CIP) grant to Smooth Solutions Spa & Laser Clinic located at 129 Mill St E, Acton.
The $24,288.89 grant funded vital improvements, including a new walkway, upgraded lighting for the back parking area, and new siding on the rear of the building. These improvements have greatly enhanced both the functionality and accessibility of the property.

Town Amends Purchasing Policy to Support Local Businesses, Mayor Writes the President
In the spirit of a ‘Team Canada’ approach, the Town of Halton Hills has amended its purchasing policy to encourage staff to focus on procuring local goods and services.

Upcoming Exhibition at the Helson Gallery: The Artistic Viewpoint
The Helson Gallery is excited to announce the opening of its upcoming exhibition, "The Artistic Viewpoint," running from March 26 to May 11, 2025. This showcase features members of SOVA (Southern Ontario Visual Artists), a collective of acclaimed professional artists united by their mutual respect and admiration for each other's work.

The Climate Change Investment Fund is accepting applications for funding requests to support projects that enhance the environmental health of Halton Hills.

Last Call - HH Discovery Pass
Following the success of last year's Sticker Map Campaign, excited to introduce the Halton Hills Discovery Pass — a FREE, mobile-exclusive digital pass designed to help visitors explore and support local tourism businesses in Halton Hills. The deadline is quickly approaching, complete the intake form by March 28, 2025 (11:59 p.m.) to be considered. Limited space is available, with only 25 spots per seasonal pass (a total of 50 participants across the two campaigns). Selection will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. We aim to have a variety of experiences and businesses represented through this program and will select businesses based on the goals of the program.
