TO OUR NEWSLETTER
Welcome to our new e-newsletter. You’ll find it filled with useful information on what we do best: “Alberta Prairie Fruit.” We will help you select and grow fruit that’s right for your yard.

D&A Gardens is one of the more unique agriculture operations in the province. You will find us located east of Highway 21 on Highway 590 among the rolling hills and valleys. Arden and Dave Delidais have a 15 acre orchard laden with 19 varieties of saskatoons, apples, cherries, black currants & raspberries.

We concentrate on making our products as healthy as possible. Jams, jellies, gelato, “to die” for pies and most recently “Delidais Estate Wine”.

We hold events throughout the season for you to come and enjoy. With lots of acres, it is easy to social distance.

We hope to see you at the farm over the season to enjoy our goodies or our events.
Our vintners, Betty and Sam are having a hoot making our awesome wine!  

We are so excited to introduce our newest addition - SODBUSTER.
Rhubarb Wine. Delish! 

The perfect blend of tangy and (slightly) sweet.  It's everything you expect out of rhubarb.  Enjoy this crisp, leggy fun to drink white wine with your cohorts.  
Serve slightly chilled.  
Sodbuster features a picture of the original sod house built by homestead couple Johnny and Eva Young.   They settled our land in 1907 and this photo is 1911 of Walter and Charlie Young in front of the sod house.  Check out the story on the back label!

ORDER EARLY
Most “gardeners” spend January and February dreaming about spring. Many of you have already ordered your seeds!

Now is the time to have a look at our prairie fruit nursery plants on our website and place your order online. We will hold your order for pick up in May at the farm.

Last year during the COVID climate we sold out quickly and we expect the same this year. Give us a call if you need some advice on what to plant. We are happy to help.

DRY ISLAND PROVINCIAL PARK
We love our local "natural gem" on the prairies - Dry Island Provincial Park. Take time to explore this area on your way home from D&A Gardens!
Least chipmunk photographed at Dry Island Provincial Park by Myrna Pearman last November on what she calls one of her ramblings!  They are found throughout North America, including central and western Canada.  They are found in boreal and temperate forests but commonly found near rock cliffs and river bluffs.  They are adept climbers and they hibernate.
