The Developmental Disabilities Administration invites all community partners and stakeholders to the DDA Community Meeting on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

If you have questions or feedback for the DDA, please use this form to submit them before the meeting. There will also be opportunities for public comment during the meeting, along with a question and answer session.

CQL: Strengthening Services, Supporting Families, and Improving Lives Across Maryland

The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) and The Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) have partnered to transform Maryland's disability services system. What role will CQL's Network Accreditation play in this initiative, and how will this transformation impact individuals receiving services and their families across Maryland?

We invite you to join us on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 12 to 1 p.m. for the webinar titled "CQL: Strengthening Services, Supporting Families, and Improving Lives Across Maryland." During the session, CQL will provide an overview of its values, tools, philosophies, and strategies. They will explain how collaboration with the DDA, service providers, individuals receiving support, their families, and other stakeholders leads to meaningful and positive changes in people's lives. Additionally, the DDA will share updates on the state's progress toward achieving CQL Network Accreditation and what this means for you.

MDH/DDA Rate Review Advisory Group

The Maryland Department of Health has established the MDH Rate Review Advisory Group to provide a formal, consistent, and unified approach for stakeholders of the Developmental Disabilities Administration to impact the review of Medicaid rates for home and community-based services for approximately 20,000 Maryland residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The MDH/DDA Rate Review Advisory Group is a critical component of the DDA’s annual rate review process. This year’s process will continue to support the DDA’s open structure of in-depth rate reviews, rate components, and policies impacting rate operationalization.

Members of the group and all interested public attendees are invited to register for the meetings by clicking the link below. The first meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Please refer to the complete 2025 Rate Review Advisory Group meeting schedule provided below.
