Gate 13 The Fellowship of Man
Gate of The Listener The Hearer of Secrets
________________________________
Universal ideas and values in an ordered framework which inspires humanistic cooperation. Past knowledge of a cycle is accumulated as memory.
Left Angle Cross of Masks, Right Angle Cross of Explanation Godhead - Kali
Line 6 - The optimist
The ability to accept any limited interaction as a necessary step towards greater union.
Exaltation: The energy to persevere. Unlimited hope. The hope that openness will lead to better relationships.
Detriment: Naivete. The translation of mutual interest into universality. The belief that mutual interests can be projected on others.
This Gate is part of the Channel of The Prodigal, The Design of the Witness, linking the G Center (Gate 13) to the Throat Center (Gate 33). Gate 13 is part of the Collective Sensing (Abstract) Circuit with the keynote of sharing.
With its gift for hearing, seeing and storing secrets, Gate 13 provides continuity between the past and the future in its role as the listener. The theme of confidante and a keeper of secrets is present during this transit. People naturally share their experiences with those that genuinely enjoy hearing their stories, their adventures, victories and challenges. Those that carry this gate are quite comfortable simply holding inside them what has been shared. Gate 13 is not pressured by the Throat Center to speak. We will recognize the right moment to share what is most valuable from our remembering because it will be drawn from us by people who are able to properly select, reflect upon and organize it for sharing with the broader community, such as people with Gate 33. The important lessons, which can only be learned through experience, are held and cherished until the time is right to contribute to humanity's understanding of itself. Historical continuity informs our future as a species. Without Gate 33, secrets may never be shared.

Gate of Rejection Potentially Aware and Ritualistically Spiritual
________________________________
Ideally the transformation of forms based on the highest principles and not simply for power. Knowing what and who is needed or not for the community.
Juxtaposition Cross of Alertness Godhead - Kali
Line 1 - The law of necessity
Revolution has no support unless it is perceived as necessary.
Exaltation: The understanding and application of this law to maximize expansion of support and thereby ensure viability. The awareness that the potential of a principle is based on it being accepted as viable.
Detriment: The misuse of influence, to insist that necessity can be created out of action. The 'Helter Skelter' syndrome. To commit acts of disorder as proof that disorder exists. Oversensitivity to rejection that can turn a principle into a crusade.
This Gate is part of the Channel of Synthesis, A Design of Being Sensitive, linking the Solar Plexus Center (Gate 49) with the Root Center (Gate 19). Gate 49 is part of the Tribal (Ego) Circuit with the keynote of support.
The principles of acceptance and rejection, marriage and divorce, and ultimately revolution, are the direct result of living with Tribal hierarchies influenced by the emotional wave. Because Gate 49 places us at the top of one of these hierarchies, we feel a need to be obeyed. This translates into us exerting the power to accept or reject a person, or their request for access to our resources, or their appeal to initiate a revolution on their own or someone else's behalf. Our sensitivity or insensitivity towards other people (and animals) and their specific needs is based on a resonance with our own principles. In other words, the people we accept into our circle are those willing to stand by us and support our principles; the rest we will be inclined to reject. Ours is a social agenda for change and reformation. It is particularly focused on food and food distribution; people who have enough to eat don't need to go to war. Revolution is either avoided by filling needs, or entered into as a necessary evil and last resort. We might be the one whose acceptance or rejection influences which road is taken to satisfy the needy party. The things that make us nervous are the fear of rejection and the consequences of unpredictability.
