This past Sunday I challenged everyone to choose various ways they could support the Kairos Prison Ministry. I will try to illuminate the best ways for you to achieve your choices. 

This coming Sunday a table will be set just inside the church side entrance up with supporting documents such as cookie recipes, Agape letter directions (for suggestions click HERE), and a prayer chain sign-up.  If you wish to participate in the prayer chain by praying each day, I need your name recorded on the sign-up sheet. If you cannot sign up in person, please email me at kraftken4340@yahoo.com, subject "prayers." I’ll enroll you. 

If you wish to contribute funds to help pay for the weekend, please write checks to St. Marks with “Kairos Meals” in the memo line and place them the offering plate or drop them off at the Center.  

The collection day for cookies and letters is Wed., March 19, from 7 a.m until 6 p.m. on the front porch of the Center. Please place the cookies in either disposable containers or ziplock bags annotated with the number of dozens. For cookie recipes, click HERE and HERE.

A Deacon’s job is never done without helpers, so here are three you can depend on. 

• For cookie production I depend on Paula Guerry, who relies on text messages to 843-812-8288. State the request and she will call or text you back. 
• For money contributions call Cheryl Gaillard, call or text 865-385-0819. 
• For Agape letter advice contact Beth Campbell by email flbeth1@gmail.com . 

To the future, Kairos needs male volunteers. Each weekend needs 10 to 15 new volunteers to sustain a healthy organization. Please consider joining.
