On Nov. 13, 2023 (World Kindness Day), we launched a special Kindness Matters initiative in conjunction with our partners at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

The day began in the Clinical Academic Building lobby, where a member of Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts greeted visitors with a musical performance as Dean Amy P. Murtha, MD and Vice Dean Keith P. Lewis, RPh, MD, handed out KIND bars, stickers and thank you cards.

Later, Dean Murtha, Dr. Lewis, Rhonda M. Smith, PhD, associate dean for faculty and staff affairs; Chantal Brazeau, MD, assistant dean for faculty vitality and chief wellness officer for Rutgers Health, along with Odette Perriel, vice president of support services at RWJUH, continued the campaign, spreading kindness together throughout our facilities.
