Glen Ellyn Police Spreading Holiday Cheer This Season

The Glen Ellyn Police Department, in collaboration with the Village, will be spreading holiday cheer this season in downtown Glen Ellyn through their annual customer parking appreciation award program.

Beginning December 1 through December 24, the Police Department will be rewarding downtown shopping patrons by giving away 20 Chamber of Commerce gift checks, redeemable at participating Glen Ellyn Chamber Member businesses. Gift checks will be given to lucky recipients Monday through Saturday throughout this holiday season. During this program, patrons will be rewarded with a $20 gift check or the chance at receiving a weekly $50 award.

"This year, our program aims to encourage both residents and visitors to Glen Ellyn to shop local during the 2020 holiday season, as businesses need our support now more than ever," said Police Chief Philip Norton. "Follow the correct customer parking regulations and you could be rewarded with a gift check and another great reason to return to Glen Ellyn."
