The Chester Volunteer Fire Company will be helping Santa make his way through town on their fire truck. Listen for the fire truck sirens to know when Santa arrives! The 20th annual Festival of Trees is a community celebration featuring decorated holiday trees in a winter wonderland setting. Special guest appearance by Santa on more than one day! Check the schedule for specific days and times. All trees are for sale. Consider purchasing a tree or donating toward the purchase of a tree to be donated to brighten the Christmas of a local family. All proceeds benefit the Senior Resource Center.

Are you a “Clark Griswald” wannabe? Do you love to decorate your home for the holidays for all to see? Register your home to be a part of the Chester Holiday Light Tour. Addresses from Chester Township and Chester Borough will be collected to create a tour map for the community to use to see all the decorations around town. Cash prizes for the top 3 decorated houses! All aboard…it’s the Polar Express! Need to run some last minute errands? Let the Chester Township Recreation Department watch your child. First, using a variety of marshmallows and candles participants will create their own edible Polar Express treat. Afterwards, they will watch the movie Polar Express while snacking on cookies and hot chocolate. $22 per child. Grades 1-5. Chester residents only.
