Fall is officially here! With cooler weather arriving, now is the perfect time to step outside and enjoy the many festivals, celebrations and activities happening across Orange County this month. From the Winter Park Autumn Art Festival to an afternoon with furry friends at Barkoberfest, there truly is something for everyone.


Looking ahead, the Orange County Community Conference returns next month. This in-person event will be held at the Orange County Multicultural Center on Saturday, November 15, at 7:30 a.m. Attendees can look forward to informative sessions, hands-on workshops and engaging speakers throughout the day — a great opportunity to get involved and connect with your neighbors.

The annual Community Conference is your chance to connect, learn and get inspired about strengthening neighborhoods across Orange County. This event features workshops covering a wide range of topics designed for residents, voluntary neighborhood organizations, homeowners associations and community groups.

Peanut Butter Challenge

The Orange County Peanut Butter Challenge is underway! Join UF/IFAS Extension Orange County in supporting local families this holiday season. Donate unopened, fresh jars of peanut butter now through October 31 at select Orange County Parks & Recreation locations. All donations will help stock local food pantries and benefit families in need.

Trick or Treat Safe Zone

Join us for a spooktacular afternoon and bring the whole family to our Trick or Treat Safe Zone. Visit the Orange County Regional History Center and the Orlando Public Library in downtown Orlando for free trick or treating along with a scavenger hunt, creepy crafts, candy, games, and more.
