TRIP PREVIEW & TAPAS TASTING
Visit Spain with the Desert Museum
Interested in travel?  Join Jesus Garcia, founder of the Kino Heritage Fruit Trees Project and Sonya Norman, Desert Museum Public Programs Coordinator, for a tapas tasting and preview of ... Spain: Moors and Christians, Olives and Wine.  A series of trip previews will be offered, the first of which is on March 4th. The tour, scheduled for September 2014, will trace the cultural and agricultural roots of the American Southwest.
SPRING IS BLOOMING
A Time of Renewal
The winter rains, recent warmer weather and sunny skies have brought spring blossoms to the Museum grounds and gardens.  If you're into sketching, walking or just enjoying the outdoors, there's no better time to visit the Museum. While here, be sure to watch Raptor Free Flight. These aerial presentations run through
April 5th.  You can't get any closer to these birds.  Don't miss it!
