Cool Summer Nights!

Cool Summer Nights kicks off tomorrow with World Oceans Night - a global event honoring and celebrating the world's oceans, their products and marine life. Enjoy sustainable seafood samples from Fini's Landing and Starr Pass Primo restaurants. Hear experts address the biodiversity and conservation challenges of the Sea of Cortez. Great ocean-themed fun for the kids includes a touch tank in the Warden Aquarium.

SAGUARO FRUIT HARVEST
A Time-Honored Tradition

 The saguaros have bloomed and their fruit is ripening now. In this class you'll use traditional Tohono O'odham methods to  harvest the tasty fruit, boil it into a sweet syrup, and return home with the delicious result of your labors. Learn about native people's important food sources and how saguaros provide sustenance and shelter to desert dwellers.
