STUDENT ART GALLERY EXHIBIT
Nature in Art Award Presentation

Working in diverse media such as watercolor, photography, and even bookmaking, the art of more than 30 Art Institute students takes the spotlight at the annual Student Art Exhibition in the Ironwood Gallery. The opening reception will be held from 4:00 to 6:00pm.

The event also honors Nature Art Certificate graduates Sheron Goldenbogen and Nancy Tedesco.
EARTH DAY POETRY CONTEST
Celebrating the Sonoran Desert

Celebrating Earth Day on April 22nd is a great opportunity to rejoice in the wonders of the Sonoran Desert-the theme of this year's 16th Annual Earth Day Poetry Contest. Sponsored by the Desert Museum's Coati Kids Club, student poets from first to sixth grade can reflect on any aspect of the vast Sonoran Desert. Submit entries to the annual Earth Day Poetry Contest by March 27th.
