Experience the desert at night in the
Spring! Desert Night Life brings an evening full of family fun to the Museum this March 8, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Explore the sky with telescopes and astronomy activities, create a fun art project, learn about nocturnal animals, and hear some great stories! Want to make it a musical evening? Members' Valentine's Dinner Returns!

Love is in the air at the Museum! Celebrate Valentine's Day with your sweetheart at the annual Members' Valentine's Day Dinner. Enjoy a delectable three course meal, with wine, in the beautiful surroundings of the Museum. This special evening is just for members, but you still have time to join before the event. Tickets are available starting January 31 by calling 883-1380 x375. Postcards with menu information will be arriving soon - check your mailboxes!

Little Birds, Lots of Care!
|
The hummingbirds may be some of the smallest animals at the Museum, but they require a great deal of care. All of the aviary feeders need to be re-filled and cleaned twice daily to ensure that the birds have the freshest food possible. Talk about a lot of dishes! To help with the task, keepers have a dedicated dishwasher filled to the brim with the small feeders. Gram for gram, taking care of the hummingbirds is one of the most costly exhibits at the Museum!
