JEWELRY TRUNK SHOW AT GIFT SHOP
Dennis Hogan Brings his Unique Style to Museum

March 1 and 2, the Museum's Gift Shop welcomes master silversmith Dennis Hogan for a special trunk show and sale. Hogan moved to New Mexico after studying fine art at DePauw University, and has always had an interest in the history of early southwestern art and architecture, particularly the work of early Native American silversmiths. Forging modern jewelry using hundred year old traditional techniques has allowed Hogan the ability to create handcrafted jewelry that is simple in design, yet elegant in the execution of hammer strokes, stamping, and antique patinas.  The sale runs from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm both days.
