Because of your continued support, it’s been over 37 weeks of nourishing our neighbors in need with healthy foods so far in 2021. We honestly couldn’t do it without you!

90 cents of every $1.00 that you contribute goes directly to supporting our programs that feed the families of clients like Megan, a disabled mother with two teenage children whose husband lost his job at the start of the pandemic.

Read below to learn how Sunshine Division is working to ensure that families like Megan's are well fed and how you can help support our crucial work to care for our community!
Making a Difference,
One Delicious Food Box at a Time
Megan is a disabled mother with two teenage children whose husband lost his job as a machinist at the start of the pandemic.

As a result, Megan's family has been struggling financially and has relied on Sunshine Division for staples over the past 18 months.

"I felt so cared for. That was the most important thing," says Megan of her experience at Sunshine Division. "Nobody made me feel like you shouldn’t be here. It just felt like I can breathe again, everything is going to work out."
View the video above to hear Megan share more about how Sunshine Division's services have made a tremendous impact upon her family.
Help Us "Act Against Hunger"
This October
Approximately 1 million Oregonians struggle with food insecurity.

This month, we are partnering with the Fred Meyer Zero Hunger Zero Waste Foundation to Act Against Hunger. With your help, we can provide nutritious free food to struggling members of our community.

$50 donations enable Sunshine Division to distribute over 50 pounds of food to families in need.

A $100 donation allows us to provide 135 nutritious meals to hungry families.
You can contribute to Sunshine Division’s Act Against Hunger campaign all month long. Make your donations at the button below!

We’d also like to give a special thank you to the Fred Meyer Zero Hunger Zero Waste Foundation for not only making our day of giving possible on October 14th, but for always helping Sunshine Division respond to the immediate needs of our community.

Whether it is funding our emergency home food delivery program, buying us a brand-new truck, or encouraging customers to round up at the register to donate to Sunshine Division, we are so grateful for the countless ways Fred Meyer helps us nourish our neighbors in need!

Welcome Back
Sunshine Division Volunteer Groups!
Ever since the start of the pandemic, Sunshine Division has had to operate without the 2,000+ volunteers that normally assist our organization.

We’re elated to report that this past month, we have officially welcomed back over 90 volunteers from six volunteer groups including: KeyBank, LDS Women’s Group, Columbia Bank, Individuals, Unico Properties LLC, and Safeway!

These volunteers graciously spent their time helping us pack us over 2,500 food boxes at our Wilsonville fulfillment center.
Take a look at the spirited Safeway team giving us a helping hand this week here!

We are currently seeking volunteers who can help us sort food each week at our Wilsonville fulfillment center. If you’re interested, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Sarah at sarah@sunshinedivision.org
Thank You for the
Great Day on the Greens!
We’d like to thank everyone who joined us at the 2021 Sunshine Division Golf Tournament and new Sunshine Under the Stars Dinner on September 22nd!

Because of your incredible generosity, this year's event was our most successful yet. Sunshine Division officially raised $204,709!

This record-setting amount will allow our organization to serve even more struggling households with free and nutritious food.

Thank you so much to our two presenting sponsors, BedMart and Les Schwab Tires, for helping to make our first golf tournament back since the pandemic our best one yet! Sunshine Division truly values their continued partnership and is so grateful that we can take care of our local community together.

Once again, thank you to everyone who supported us at this amazing event this past September. We already can’t wait to greet you all back on the greens next year!
