Changing Seasons

Pumpkins in the fields. Leaves changing colors. The cool crisp air. All of these are signs that Autumn is here. A new season is upon us. Just as the earth enters new seasons repeatedly so do all of us. For our family the gardening season is coming to a close, and we are preparing for a season of more travel. 

We are excited to see what new adventures the Lord will bring and about the near release of our first Christmas CD. In celebration of our new project we have decided to hold a contest for our subscribers!

What Can I Give Him?

Last month we hinted at the title of our Christmas CD. Did you guess? Well, now you know... the title is "What Can I Give Him?". We are getting closer each day to having our CD completed. We hope you will enjoy listing to it AND looking at it. Christina has done a beautiful job with the art work and she has been working hard to get the art work finished. As of the writing of this article she just finished and has sent all of the files to Tape Corporation of America where the CD will be replicated. Our first partial Christmas concert will be October 29 in Lexington, KY! If you live near by I hope you will visit. There is a tiny chance the CDs could be ready by then.

Now for the fun and exciting part...

To enter to win our new Christmas CD: 

1. Guess how many instruments were used in the making of this CD. (Any guess, no matter how far off counts. The closer you are the better your chances are for winning.) 😃

A winner will be chosen in the following way:

We will accept entries through October 10, 2022 at midnight ET. The winner will be the person who guesses the closest number of instruments and there is no penalty for guessing too many. In case of a tie, the winner will be the person who entered first.

Photo Fun

Christina wanted to find a place to "hike" on our way home. In our search we found this place called the Rock Maze. We would have never found it without the GPS. We are looking forward to a return trip one day. 

A cardinal couple built a little home in our squash/asparagus bean arbor.

Our yummy asparagus beans. Doug worked very hard in our garden this year. We got a lot of these beans this year!

Christina helping Doug play a viola part she picked out for him to play while she played the piano. You can see the outcome on our 114th Living Room Live. 😃
