As a reminder, line checks and the OMC checklist should only be completed in Zenput. If any restaurant is still using the previous Line Check app or paper, they need to switch. This new tool is a great way to ensure food safety, and it allows you to easily track issues when they first arise and can help prevent food borne illness. You can also easily see recurring issues and address quickly.
Each checklist has a window in which it must be completed. A good best practice to remind managers about completing the checklist is to mark who is responsible on the Daily Staff Card and review during the pre-shift meeting.
Checklist Times (all times are local)
AM Line Check : 6:00am – 11:00am
Opening Checklist: 6:00am – 10:30am
Mid-Shift Checklist: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
PM Line Check: 3:00pm – 5:30pm
Closing Checklist: 6:00pm-3:00am
