Hi church family, Pastor Fred here.

I will be starting a Bible study on Wednesday evenings starting September 4th. The study will start after the Wednesday fellowship dinner, approximately 6:30 pm, and will be about an hour long each week. Think of this as Bible basics 101. We will start with the book of Matthew and look at things like original language and culture to see how that is affecting what we read. I look forward to seeing you there.

Dear Church Family,

Higgins Methodist Church is seeking a Director of Children’s Ministry. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and flexible hours.

The prerequisites are:

- strong love for Jesus

- extensive Bible knowledge

- elementary education background or experience with elementary aged children

- the desire to make a difference in children’s lives

Sunday Morning Fellowship

Please join in a time of fellowship each Sunday morning before/after the 8:30 service. This is a great opportunity to interact with each other and welcome visitors. Light snacks will be available during this time.

Volunteers are needed to help provide snacks. If you would like to be put on the rotating schedule to share snacks, please contact Sharon Honeycutt (828-208-9188).
