It's our Fifth Season of Family Science Nights in Santa Paula

Our first Santa Paula Family Science Night (5th season) was a huge success.

Our young adult volunteers are amazing!

Alexis, in the top picture, brought the generator she designed and built with 3D cut pieces to show to the kids. It was a project for her Physics class at Oxnard College.

Sean came out to FSN from Villanova to share his passion for computers. He loves to share information about deconstructed computers to give people insight into computer design.

The DC Begins Partnership with Thousand Oaks' Safe Passage program

The Discovery Center is pleased to announce our partnership with Thousand Oaks' Safe Passage.  Safe Passage programs focus on two densely populated micro-communities characterized by a high concentration of gang recruitment and crime. The program assists the target community's youth population in navigating through the critical gang recruitment and grooming years (ages 5 through 12).  We can't wait to share Science and Technology fun and learning with the Safe Passage elementary-age kids!
