Legislative Action Conference: March 3-5, 2024

The Legislative Action Conference will be held at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C. from March 3-5, 2024. SNA National has compiled our annual Position Paper that we will present to our Congressmen, Congresswomen and Senators when we “Charge The Hill” on Tuesday, March 5^th. We speak with our Congressional Representatives about our concerns and successes so that we can continue to have the support and funding that our operations need. It is so important for as many Child Nutrition Professionals from Ohio as possible to lobby. Industry and school district personnel are equally important! Our Representatives need to hear from us directly, so please plan to participate in this very important process.

Jennifer Rex

Jennifer Rex is the Child Nutrition Director at Plain Local Schools and has been since 2010! She is a vegetarian, so her favorite school lunch is Plain Local Power Bowls. Jennifer is also the Northeast Regional Director for SNA of Ohio and has been an SNA member for 25 years. As the North East Director she is able to represent different areas of the state. Her favorite thing about SNA of Ohio is that the members feel like family! Her favorite memory with SNA of Ohio is the conference in June 2012- it was EPIC!
