Legislative Action Conference: March 3-5, 2024

The amazing Legislative Action Conference will be held at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C. from March 3-5, 2024. So many people want to attend this conference that there is currently a waitlist to register! SNA National has compiled our annual Position Paper that we will present to our Congressmen, Congresswomen and Senators when we “Charge The Hill” on Tuesday, March 5^th. We speak with our Congressional Representatives about our concerns and successes so that we can continue to have the support and funding that our operations need. It is so important for as many Child Nutrition Professionals from Ohio as possible to lobby. Industry and school district personnel are equally important! Our Representatives need to hear from us directly, and we look forward to seeing those of you already registered at the Legislative Action Conference!

SNA of Ohio East Central Regional Director: Stacey Bettis

Stacey Bettis works for the Stark County ESC- serving Minerva Local, Brown Local, and Tuscarawas Local School Districts as the Director of Food Service. She has been working as a Director for 24 years and her favorite school food is a Walking Taco. Stacey serves as the East Central Regional Director for SNA of Ohio. She stated, “Being a regional director has been very rewarding to get to collaborate with many different school districts within one region to share valuable information with each other.” In her 15 years as a member of SNA of Ohio her favorite thing is the mentors which have turned into many friendships over the years. Her favorite memory was the 2017 conference where they had an event at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
