The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Charity for Men’s health!

It was absolutely a spectacular event on Sunday! 500 motorcycles with thousands of people met at the Santa Monica Pier and filled the parking lot. There were vendor/sponsor booths, a Kiss tribute band, celebrities, and all the food and drink the pier has to offer! And, the weather was perfect!

At about 2pm 500 motorcycles left riding side by side for a parade through Los Angeles, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. It was a true parade with police stopping traffic and it was so incredible seeing peoples reactions. Can you imagine a mile long parade of motorcycles going down Rodeo Drive? Well, we did it and the people loved it. Everyone was filming us with their phones and waving and smiling! All I can say is it was the most incredible thing I have done in many, many years.

This charity is dear to my heart because their focus is Men’s cancer and mental health. I have lost three of my true friends to cancer and both my brother and father committed suicide. Millions of dollars were raised this year and the ride took place in over 900 cities, on this day, worldwide. Wow!

It was our privilege to be the major sponsor of the Los Angeles Event and will be back next year to do the best we can!

Ducati pays homage to Ayrton Senna with a collector’s limited edition Monster

Ducati pays homage to Ayrton Senna by presenting a collector's limited-edition Monster honoring the extraordinary career of the Brazilian racing driver and the legacy he left behind. The limited number of units is a tribute to the legend: 341. 3 is the number of World Titles won by Senna in Formula 1®, while 41 is the number of Grands Prix that Ayrton finished celebrating on the podium's top step.

The Monster Senna special edition aims to celebrate the solid relationship established between Ducati and the Brazilian champion. This mutual passion between the two motorsport legends is a passion that the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer still cultivates today through the relationship with Ayrton's family and with Senna Brands. This collaboration led to the design of the special livery, designed by Centro Stile Ducati.

The Beautiful Bikes And Beautiful People Of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2024

Think of it as the prom for motorcyclists.

“The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride unites classic and vintage styled motorcycle riders from all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health,” the DGR says.

The Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia, by Mark Hawwa and some friends. Hawwa and company used to go on motorcycle excursions around Sydney just for fun. Then he saw a photo, possibly in an advertisement, of Mad Men’s Don Draper sitting on a classic motorcycle wearing a suit.

SUPERCROSS SEASON ENDS WITH SEVENTH OVERALL FOR TRIUMPH

Triumph Racing concluded its first year competing in the Monster Energy AMA 250SX East Championship with a ninth place race finish for rider Jalek Swoll in Salt Lake City, Utah. The result was enough to secure seventh overall in the standings and concludes an impressive debut performance season for the all-new Triumph TF 250-X.
