Hello Ken,

As the leaves change and Dr. Johnson completes his second month as our superintendent, I feel like we are all settling into our roles. I appreciate the encouragement from so many of you to continue pushing out these monthly newsletters. And thanks for the steady reminders to keep it brief and to the point...

Let's get to the updates:

  • October Board Meeting: Monday, October 7 at 2:30 pm. The work session includes a review of building capacity and utilization, a financial report, and of course, a progress monitoring update. The complete agenda is here.
  • Join the October District 3 community meeting: Please continue the conversation on our District 3 virtual call. Join me on Friday, October 25 at 10 am for our monthly community meeting. Register here.
  • Congrats to National Merit Scholarship Semi-finalist: Our District 3 highs schools were well-represented by these 11 scholars. The complete list is here.

Hope-Hill Eagles are Soaring!

I loved seeing Hope-Hill Elementary students build their own solar systems today, so they can change the world after graduation.
