We all love spending long, sunny days outdoors with our furry friends, but it’s crucial to remember that summer has its own hazards.

Remember to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and care of your four-legged pals. Keep them hydrated, avoid hot pavement, and never leave them in the car.

It's Time for Mason's New Home!
Meet Mason, our shelter's third-longest resident - he has been with us for almost 450 days. He is a well-trained, loving, intelligent dog looking for a home with someone who will show him patience and kindness. He is cautious around men, but he hasn't had any issues with our male staff or volunteers.

Mason loves to play fetch for short periods and would thrive in a quiet home. Mason gets along well with calm female dogs and loves women. He is a very sweet boy who deserves a second chance at his happily ever after. You can learn more about Mason here: HBPets.org/adopt.
Our animals deserve better
A new shelter is not just a want—it's a dire necessity. With more space and better facilities, we can provide the medical care, comfort, and dignity every animal deserves. We cannot do this alone. Your support is crucial. Please donate today and help us build a safer, more humane shelter.

We have raised just over 72% of our goal and we're confident that with your help, we can close the gap of the last $1.25M to make our dream of a new shelter a reality.

To donate, please click here. Checks can be mailed to HBPets PO Box 8 McMinnville, OR 97128 memo: Capital Campaign.

To view the shelter design and learn more about how to help bring our dream to life, please visit HBPets.org/CC. Thank you!
Help animals from home!
Now's your chance to help dogs and cats from the comfort of home, or wherever you are! Your schedule is 100% flexible and you can volunteer as little as two hours per week.

We are looking for a remote administrative volunteer to help with projects like contacting businesses to encourage participation in sponsoring donation matching for their employees' charitable giving. Training will be provided and your time very appreciated.

Loyal Companions Monthly Giving
We rely solely on community donations; they help us pay for spay/neuter surgeries, nutritious food, safe shelter, enrichment toys, microchips, and vaccines that give our animals a second chance. Loyal Companions is our monthly giving program which helps us focus on rescue and rehabilitation rather than fundraising.

You can join our fight against animal neglect and abuse by clicking here to become a Loyal Companions member. As a small token of our appreciation, you will receive an exclusive window cling to display proudly!
Auction Items & Sponsors Needed
Join Us for the 5th Annual Paws for a Celebration Virtual Auction! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and your participation is crucial to our mission.

Since 1975, we've helped tens of thousands of animals live healthier, happier, safer lives through adoptions, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, microchips, medications, and reuniting lost pets with their families. With your support, we can continue this vital work for another 50 years!
