Working for Wags
Local support from our area businesses helps Acadiana Animal Aid lead the way in Lafayette's no-kill movement—helping save thousands of lives every year from overcrowded municipal shelters.

AAA is proud to introduce Marcello’s Lafayette, Metal Shark Boats, Lacombe Eye Center and iPhone Lafayette as our Corporate Guardian Angels. They help make this life saving work possible through monthly contributions that provide consistent funding year round.

So make sure to give them a visit and show them some love this summer—just as they do for our four-legged crew!

Whether you’re a current Guardian Angel looking to give more or a first-time donor interested in becoming a year round partner, we offer various levels and perks for individuals and businesses to help the homeless pets of Acadiana find adoptive families.

FREQUENT FLYER STATUS!
We've done it again!
By 4:30 AM on June 19th, 57 dogs and 16 cats were on their way to Michigan Humane. It was a heck of a weekend for Louisiana pets in need, as 154 dogs and 16 cats hitched a ride to their new beginnings! Thank you Greater Good Charities GoodFlights for making these flights possible.

We are grateful to everyone who showed up on short notice after this flight was scheduled for take off in New Orleans but switched to Lafayette due to weather. It's always so incredible to see people come together for a cause and we appreciate you all more than you could ever imagine! We hope the catch-up sleep was extra good knowing you've helped so many in just a couple days!
We are also excited about our upcoming Massachusetts flight on Tuesday, July 20th. 40 cats will be taking off to their new homes, which frees up much needed space for AAA to intake more pets in need of temporary care. Please consider buying a "boarding pass" to help these kitties catch their next flight.

Meet Tinker, an 8 year old beauty who believes in her heart she’s never too old to find love again—especially since she has so much left of it to give.

After her owner moved into an assisted living facility and couldn’t take her with her, Tinker was surrendered to AAA to wait for a special person to come along that could look past her white hairs to see her sweet soul. And while she hasn’t had any takers yet—this wise gal isn’t giving up on her second chance at happiness and hopes that chance might be with you!
