Many of you received letters over the past month highlighting the challenges our community faces remaining a vibrant, year-round community. The simple truth is that the cost of homes in Kennebunkport and the surrounding area far exceeds the amount most people can afford. To remain a viable community with workforce, volunteers, and children in our school we need to have housing that is attainable by working people and seniors.
We are excited to offer our donors the opportunity to support our work and to look great doing it! We partnered with Sea Bags to create three exclusive bags - a wristlet, a bucket bag, and a large tote. We are reserving these bags for donors through December 1, so please consider making your donation today! Supplies are very limited; only 26 of each bag were made and donors have already scooped up 20 of the large totes and a handful of the bucket bags and wristlets. These bags make a great gift and delivery is guaranteed by Christmas for donations received by December 1.
We are just over half way to reaching our annual campaign goal of $40,000. Thank you to all who have already donated; your monthly pledges and annual donations have raised $20,741!
