Planning Board Final Approvals Granted!

We are thrilled to announce that we have final Town of Kennebunkport Planning Board approvals on our new neighborhood, Landon Woods! This was a long and thorough process that depended on the support of the Town of Kennebunk Select Board, the Town of Kennebunkport Planning Department and Planning Board, Walsh Engineering Associates, Lower Village Survey Co., Longview Partners, and PATCO Homes. We are now in the permitting phase with Maine DEP and all signs point to us breaking ground in May 2025. Thank you to everyone who sent in emails and letters of support; the Planning Board mentioned a few times how impressed they were by the level of community support. A special thank you to Planning Board Chair Ed Francis for his kind words after approvals were granted about our work and his encouragement to his fellow townspeople to become donors! We are deeply grateful for the trust our donors show us in their continuing support and excited to welcome six new homeowners to our community later this year!

The mission of the Neighborhood Housing Trust is to sustain Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, and Arundel as a year-round communities by providing housing accessible to working families and seniors.

We will achieve our mission and vision through the dedicated efforts of our board and staff and with the support of residents, the business community, philanthropic funders, and public resources that share our vision. We will join our fellow local nonprofits in being a trusted member of the community and a valued steward of the public’s trust by creating and sustaining attainable housing.
