Library news & updates
The Holidays are upon us, and we are spreading cheer in the form of books! Debbie just finished a Christmas storytime with 23 in attendance and sent all the kids home with reindeer food, so hopefully Santa's steeds won't be too belly-heavy to leave Douglas. Please note that we will be closing at 1:30 on Christmas Eve and will remain closed on Christmas Day. We will also be closed on January 1, but New Year's Eve's hours will be normal.

Yoga at the Library
Starting on January 3, Marise Nazzaro will be leading a gentle yoga class at the library every Thursday at 7pm. For the first session, we are limiting attendance to 15. We'll see how that works in our space and adjust accordingly. You have to bring your own mat, and yoga blocks are encouraged if you have them. Signups are required, so register at the circulation desk, give us a call, or email me at [email protected].

Mommy Bootcamp
Personal Trainer Gillian Ross is currently leading a group at the library on Monday and Thursday mornings. This is a fitness class for moms with children of all ages. To join her class, you have to register in the Stroller Fitness of Blackstone Valley group and rsvp for classes. The first session is free. After that, there is a $20 membership fee and 5 classes are $25. Please direct questions to Gillian via the meetup group.
