Summer is a poppin' hot time at the library.  If you haven't already gotten one of our library passports, come get one! We'll have gift cards being raffled for children (West End Creamery), teens (Blackstone Valley Cinema), and adults (Little Coffee Bean) who complete their passport by visiting local libraries.

Our Summer Reading Program and story times are in full swing We've had two very popular programs so far. Lego Engineering had 56 attendees, and Minecraft Madness had 65. T here is more to come! See our calendar for all the upcoming events. Deb's storytimes are amazing, and the crafts she comes up with are out of this world.

This Saturday will see our annual book sale, squash challenge, and the Farmers Market recycling day and tote bag workshop (see below for more details).

Quilt Silent Auction

This crib-sized quilt, made by our very own Betsy Youngsma, is currently up for auction. All proceeds will go to the development of our historical archives. Betsy and Rebecca Lavallee have made astounding progress in turning our collection of old dusty books and papers into a functional archive (click here to see their progress). The auction will go until noon on August 15, and the current bid is $75. You can place a bid by phone, email, or visiting us.
Coffee Bar!

What goes better with books than coffee? Or hot cocoa? Or tea? All of the above are currently available to make at our new self-serve coffee bar. The $1.25 donation per cup will go to the Friends of the Library to help us provide more programming and events. Drink up!
