The DID & City of Sarasota Present
The Downtown Improvement District and the City of Sarasota funded and initiated the second season of the popular Fresh Fridays event series. Here's what's up next on Friday, May 5th.
Cinco de Mayo | Friday, May 5th
Palm Ave | 7-10 p.m.
The Downtown Improvement District’s freshest block party continues with Cinco de Mayo. Join us on Friday, May 5 on Palm Ave adjacent to the Art Ovation Hotel as headliner, Jonathan Cortez returns. A fan favorite for our block partygoers, Jonathan is a “Jac of all Trades” performer, having the ability to sing over 1,000 songs in three different languages and performing artists ranging from The Beatles to Boyz II Men to Bruno Mars. The former American Idol finalist’s powerhouse voice, superb showmanship, and unique charm will uplift and have you on your feet all night.

Come early for your free signature giveaways, and grab a bite or beverage from one of our hospitality partners, Art Ovation Hotel, State Street Eating House + Cocktails, Azul Steak and Sushi Lounge, or Brick’s Smoked Meats.
