You’re invited to be part of a Puget Sound Revels Dragon Parade!

The dates are set, the routes will be published in November, but NOW is the time to start creating.

Participation is fun and free and you can sign up once the routes are set.

Be in one, or be in them all.

Mark your calendar and gather friends and family to light up someone’s night.

We’ll be joined once again by Steve LaBerge’s fire-breathing creation and you are welcome to create your own light-up dragon or any festive light art. Tacomarama will be playing marching tunes. Once again, Puget Sound Revels will be fomenting communal effervescence and promoting our Midwinter Revels production with a series of Dragon Parades through greater Tacoma neighborhoods.

These Dragon Parades are a prime example of Puget Sound Revels’ commitment to flinging joy and building community through seasonal celebrations and the traditional arts. Begun during COVID with the idea of bringing (de)light in dark times, we began with a banner, a dragon, a trumpeter in a pick-up truck and a few marchers with lit costumes showing up unannounced in a neighborhood. Each year has brought new friends, ideas, and expectations. Now in our fourth year, we are looking to expand participation, both by participants and audiences. we hope you'll help us fling some joy around.
