PRUDENTIAL PLATORM MIGRATION TO EMPOWER – What Does This Mean for You? Important Information on Upcoming Migration

Last year Prudential was acquired by Empower and you will have seen various communications coming from Empower instead of Prudential. We are now preparing for the formal migration of plan and participant assets over to Empowers’ record keeping system. 

This migration will commence after market close (4 pm) on Thursday, October 19^th 2023. There will be no transacting on Friday, 20^th October through the close of business on Monday, 23^rd October. Funds remain invested Friday/Monday but whilst participants and the plan sponsor will be able to view accounts, we cannot make changes/transact on the account.

Once the migration is complete, you will receive an email from Empower to advise we are live on the record-keeping platform and provide instructions on how to register to access your account. Please be on the lookout for this and take action as soon as you can to ensure you have access to your retirement account. Please also take some time to review your contributions and your beneficiaries to ensure everything is as you would like it.

Teammate Michael Johnson is participating in a fantastic cause! This Fall, from October 5th through October 8th, Michael will be one of over 150 cyclists embarking on Ride Allegheny, a 310-mile trek from Pittsburgh to Washington, DC, to raise money for Operation Second Chance. He hopes to continue Ride Allegheny’s track record of success as they aim to raise more than $600,000 for Operation Second Chance and the tremendous work they do.

The incredible support Operation Second Chance provides to our service men and women and their families in their greatest time of need is awe-inspiring. We are proud of Michael for his dedication to this cause!

We hosted our annual Company Picnic in late July. The event featured a variety of enjoyable activities, food, and an array of fantastic prizes in the raffle. Additionally, it was our privilege to announce the 2023 Sheldon Shapiro Scholarship winners. The turnout for the picnic was heartening, and we extend our gratitude to all who participated.
