In expectation of tomorrow's winter storm, the St. Thomas Church Office will be closed Friday morning, January 10th, and the Rosary has been rescheduled for Jan. 24th.

As of today, we are planning to open the church for worship at our usual times this Sunday, January 12th. If that decision changes due to weather conditions, a parish-wide email will be sent out on Saturday, January 11th, and an announcement will be posted on the church website and all social media pages.

Before the closing prayer, Fr. Donavan will announce the newly elected members of the St. Thomas Vestry.

The nominees for the vestry this year are Natalie Brock, Doug Eskew, Maggie Hall, Linda Hanson, Paul Heim, Crystal Knickelbein, Tony Loop, Penny Nielson, and Frances Steel. Short Bios for each Vestry Nominee, along with photos are available HERE, and there will be hard copies of the bios on each table in Parish Hall. Thank you to each person who agreed to stand for Vestry election this year!

Please plan on being present for this important Parish Meeting next Sunday, January 12th, beginning at 9:15am in the Parish Hall!

St. Thomas Mom's Group

The St. Thomas Mom's Group meets TONIGHT, January 9th!

Continuing the theme from our last few months, the St. Thomas Mom's Group has moved our meeting time to the second Thursday of the month! We are meeting TONIGHT, Thursday, January 9, at 6:30 pm, in the Parish Hall.

The St. Thomas Mom's Group is a special ministry that is dedicated to women who have children at home ages 0-18. The monthly Mom's Group is a time to come together as mothers with young children to support one another, share in the love and laughter, and help each other through the challenges and struggles that motherhood brings. Being a mom is not always easy, so one night a month we come together to ask the good Lord for patience and strength and to lean on one another in this shared experience. Please bring a mom friend! Phishing Scams continue: Please know that you will NEVER receive texts or emails from Fr. Donavan, Mtr. Katie, Dcn. Jeannie, Dcn. Dave, or any church staff asking you for money or gift cards. This has become a very common phishing scam for churches around the country, and it has increased in frequency here at St. Thomas, especially with both emails and texts claiming to be from Fr. Donavan, over the last month. If this happens to you, please do not respond to the communication and if you have questions, please contact the church office.
