New “Children’s Moment” EVERY SUNDAY!

In order to incorporate children into our Sunday morning worship every Sunday, Fr. Donavan will present a new 5 minute “Children’s Message” to the 10:30 Eucharist, that will happen just before the sermon. Each Sunday, the procession to the Children’s Chapel will not begin until just after the Gospel is read. At that point, as the Gospel book is being returned to the altar, a short children’s hymn will be played and Miss Laura Beth will invite the children who usually attend Children’s Chapel to come to the front of the church and be seated in front of the altar. There, Fr. Donavan, will offer a special “Children’s Message” to our kiddos. When the message is finished, the music will begin again, and the children will follow Miss Laura Beth to Children’s Chapel, to be returned during the Peace.

Attention All Budding Breakfast Cooks:

We all enjoy sharing breakfast on Sunday mornings with our fellow parishioners, but the meals do not magically appear in our kitchen. We have several groups that graciously volunteer their talents throughout the year to provide these meals, but they cannot cook every Sunday. We are looking for volunteers to form a team and take on this rewarding task once or twice this year. There are several dates available to show off your culinary skills. All teams are welcome. Please contact George Harriman at [email protected] or call at 256-509-6666 if you feel you can help.
