Mom's Group
TONIGHT, July 11
St. Thomas’ Mom's group ministry for mothers with children ages 0 - 18 is meeting again TONIGHT, Thursday, July 11, at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall!
The monthly Mom's Group is a time to come together as mothers with young children to support one another, share in the love and laughter, and help each other through the challenges and struggles that motherhood brings. Being a mom is not always easy, so one night a month we come together to ask the good Lord for patience and strength and to lean on one another in this shared experience. Please bring a mom friend! Contact Audrey Cain at audreysherkin@gmail.com for more info.

Pray the Rosary
TOMORROW, Friday,
July 12
The St. Thomas Rosary Prayer Group is now gathering every other Friday in the church at 12:05pm to pray the Rosary. Each prayer session lasts around half an hour and includes the reading of each scripture passage for the five decades of either the Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, or Luminous Mysteries of the Holy Rosary. If you’ve never prayed the Rosary, we always have Rosary beads available, as well as written directions to help you fully participate in this meaningful, scriptural, and contemplative prayer practice. If you would like to join us, the Rosary will be prayed again at St. Thomas Friday, July 12, at 12:05pm.

SCHOOL BACKPACKS AND SUPPLIES
St. Thomas' Little Free Pantry is collecting backpacks and school supplies for elementary students. Last year, we handed out 25 backpacks! We aim to double that this year but WE NEED YOUR HELP! You can donate a backpack and place it in the Little Red Wagon or donate money to Irene earmarked for "Backpacks."
Next weekend is tax-free shopping, making it easier to contribute! We'll distribute backpacks July 25-26. Please join us for this heartwarming experience!
If you have any questions or wish to join us handing out backpacks, contact Debbie Harriman at 256-509-6606 or dharriman5817@gmail.com.

Annual Parish Outing to Trash Pandas Game August 11
It's time to start purchasing our seats for our annual parish outing to a Rocket City Trash Pandas baseball game. Join us on August 11 to help show the Rocket City some St. Thomas spirit as our choir sings the National Anthem before the Trash Pandas take on the Birmingham Barons. First pitch is at 4:05 pm at Toyota Field. If we have at least 50 in our group, we will become candidates for someone from our party to throw the first pitch, so buy your tickets early. Purchase your ticket(s) online directly by clicking on this link. There is a deadline of August 10, 2pm CST to purchase tickets. Financial assistance is available by contacting Fr. Donavan or Deacon Jeannie. If you need help ordering tickets, contact the church office at 256-880-0247 or email Laura Beth (children@stthomashuntsville.org).

"Come As You Are"
5pm Holy Eucharist
This Sunday, and every Sunday, we have our "Come As You Are" Holy Eucharist. Our 5pm Holy Eucharist features joyful hymns from the Alleluia III hymnal and gospel music chosen by our skilled keyboard master, Sam Wright. We also have good sermons preached from the floor. Come as you are and invite a friend to join you for the 5pm Holy Eucharist at St. Thomas.
We are looking for Eucharistic Ministers, greeters, and readers for our 5pm Holy Eucharist services. Please look for a signup sheet in the Narthex where the Hymnals are placed. No experience necessary!
