Every month in our newsletters, we introduced a community member or group. This year we introduced you to Mike, Ania, Ronnie, Andriy/Alina, Steve, Ana, Lee, Little Love/Jacqui, Dane, Parent Roundtable, SDTC Triathlon Teams, and Drew. Here's to meeting more of our fabulous community in 2025! | In October we had an incredible panel of parents living without both hands or more who shared insights and tips for every age and family. Watch the recording | 5) RONNIE HINDSMAN'S BOWLING TOURNAMENT | It's impossible to overestimate the power of gathering for a purpose. For 6 years, Ronnie has held a bowling tournament to raise funds for Skills for Life attendees. This last year was exceptional, raising more than $21,000 which translates to about 20 attendees joining us in 2025 for SFL in Houston. Ronnie, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Learn More | |

6) ANDY MATTOX'S ROCK 'N BOWL WEEKEND
If ESFL is in Ohio, it must be time for Andy's fundraiser. From one-of-a-kind entertainment to adaptive bowling, it's centered on raising funds for people attending Skills for Life. Last year Andy raised over $34,000 which ensures we can continue hosting events, providing resources, making peer connections as well as provide financial assistance to attend our events. Thank you, Andy for all of your passion and energy for ESFL!

7) SAN DIEGO TRIATHLON PARTICIPATION
In October, 13 of our ESFL competitors swam, ran, and cycled as teams of three on their way to the CAF finish line, cheering each other on alongside family members and friends! Hear how the participants feel about doing it again. (Spoiler alert: YES!) Watch our SDTC Recap.

8) YOUTUBE CONTENT
You asked and we compiled great community insights on our YouTube Channel... from a "public bathroom how to" to a "driving with feet" discussion. Check out our Peer Channels too. Let us know if you have a channel or video to share. Skip the rabbit hole and find what you want to see!

9) PEER CONNECTIONS
It is hard to find others who are also living without both hands or all four limbs in your area. Sometimes the stars align and the perfect connection is less than 30 minutes away. Read More about Madi & Melissa's story.
